It all began when Joanna, who worked for a tights brand (which shall remain nameless), consistently heard the same complaints from women: tights that pinched, ripped easily, itched, and lacked both comfort and style. Fashion was moving forward, yet hosiery was left behind, falling short on the elegance women deserved. For many, buying tights felt no different than picking up groceries—basic, uninspired, and far from luxurious.
Years later, after diving into the world of art and fashion design with a special love for the history of lingerie, Joanna launched Betty—the embodiment of French elegance and a new standard in hosiery.
